Mr. Duarte has been residing in the United States since 1996 and has been engaged in the US Real Estate market for over a decade having successfully deployed over $60 million of investors’ as well as personal capital, while being directly responsible for the acquisition, renovation and disposition of hundreds of Single-Family and Multi-Family assets throughout Florida and the Midwest region.

 

In 2015, Mr. Duarte also entered the Net-Lease Development space after observing numerous investors acquiring Triple-Net (NNN) properties in the retail market through brokerage relationships. Mr. Duarte has since been able to foster long-lasting relationships with top-tier Developers, General Contractors and national franchise brands and has co-developed net-lease projects throughout multiple US states.

 

He is also a co-founding partner of the US arm of a Brazilian Real Estate fund with over $1 billion in AUM, where he had a key role in the structuring and business development.

 

Prior to starting in Real Estate, Mr. Duarte had been in the financial services industry at institutions such as Morgan Stanley and Bank-Boston where he managed the accounts of High Net-Worth Individuals from Latin America. Mr. Duarte has lived in Oxford and Barcelona and has a Bachelor Degree (B.A.) in Business Administration as well as a Master’s Degree (M.B.A.) in International Business from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
